April 2010 - The America's Family Pet Expo 2010 was a HUGE success. We were able to raise awareness on the importance of spay/neuter and the joy of rescuing a homeless dog through animal rescue groups. We adopted several of our rescue dogs into great forever homes through this venue. We also raised much needed funding for our rescue animals and our spay/neuter program. All of our honor students participated through our community outreach program as well as our volunteers. A special thank you to Nina, Jasmine and Ali for their hard work.

September 2009: Have a look at that invitation, a 6 year old gave up her gifts and went all out for the dogs! Here is a small note from Mom....."All of the kids are from El Segundo - Center Street school. We didn't have to do much convincing. People wanted to help and to come!! Carleigh just loves animals, especially doggies, and we expressed that to everyone. Instead of Carleigh getting more toys that we don't need, we wanted to give to someone or something that did need. And she chose the doggies :)" Thanks, Debra
Animals rule would like to thank all these little guys as well as the parents for stepping up and making a difference in your community. We are touched by your generosity as well as your inspiration to your children to learn to "donate" at such an early age.
Maren Made a Difference
July 2009 - Maren showed up to our animal rescue today with a donation for the rescue dogs. Maren, her girlfriend Brigit, and her mom Val, went all out in their efforts for our rescue dogs. The girls had a craft stand up in Rancho Palos Verdes where they made and sold Hawaiian leis, earrings, and friendship bracelets. They also baked brownies, cookies and sold lemonade. Maren even raffled off her bicycle. In all, they raised $342.26 for our rescue dogs. Pictured is Maren who is in 7th grade handing Stephanie, the founder of our organization, their hard earned donation.
Maren, Brigit and Val........ thank you so much for caring about the animals. Its people like you who make a difference in the lives of rescue dogs. Your donation will be used to sponsor our newest Chihuahua litter of 3, your donation will go toward their vaccinations, microchips and spay/neuters. We just cant thank you enough for your kindness.
Girl Scout Troop 816
June 2009 - Local Girl scout Troop 816 based out of El Segundo, CA stopped by with donations for the rescue dogs. Many of the girls made cozy blankets and treats as part of their service project for their Girl Scout Bronze Award. All the cozy blankets were donated just in time to send home with our litter of 8 puppies, all who benefited from their generosity. The girls were educated on the importance of spay and neuter programs, vaccines, and general wellness care and compassion toward animals. They met all the rescue dogs, we had a question and answer period, and they received T-shirts from the rescue which they were excited about. Pictured is: (back row) Shannon Evans & Stephanie Crawford, (front row) Elaine Lavorie, Katherine Moran, & Sydney Salinda Animals Rule would like to thank Girl Scout Troop 816 along with their parents for thinking about the rescue dogs and incorporating animal related projects for the girls to do that show love and compassion for animals. We were touched by your enthusiasm and generosity
